Dr Selvarani (Selvi) Moses, an experienced consultant paediatrician with a keen interest in both behavioural and acute general paediatrics and neonatal care. She has completed fellowships in Australia as well as in Sri Lanka.

She is an Australian trained specialist and has worked across Australia including Royal children hospital and Monash hospital. Throughout her training Selvi was instrumental in the initiation of many guidelines and quality improvement and research projects in several hospital.

Selvi has been a leader throughout her career, leading a tertiary neonatal unit in Sri Lanka as a consultant neonatal paediatrician and has incorporated these skills throughout her work. She also was a research co-ordinator for neonatal research in many hospitals.

Selvi has strong passion in teaching junior doctors, nursing staff and medical students throughout her work . She is an advanced paediatric life support and newborn resuscitation instructor.

She is a visiting paediatrician at Mitcham, Waverley and Jessie McPherson private hospitals. Her current public appointment is at Eastern Health in both the neonatal and paediatric units.

Dr Selvi is also an external examiner at School of Medicine - Monash University.
